Books donated to the KKHCL by Mr. Mohan Lal Meena, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Jorhat

Abstract

On Wednesday, 19th November, 2023, a Book Donation Ceremony was organized at the Conference Hall I of Jagannath Barooah College (Autonomous). Mr. Mohan Lal Meena, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Jorhat in presence of Principal Dr. Utpal Jyoti Mahanta, faculty members, non-teaching staff and students donated 25 number of books to the Krishna Kanta Handiqui Central Library for UPSC/APSC aspirants. Mr. Mohan Lal Meena also enlightened about the importance of the books to prepare for the prestigious examinations. Dr. Utpal Jyoti Mahanta, thanked the Assam Police for this initiative which will bring awareness among students. Ms. Aanchal Chauhan, IPS (Probationer) expressed her views about the procedure of the examinations and gave her valuable guidance to the students. The meeting was presided from the very beginning by the librarian of the college Mr. Digbijoy Das and he thanked everyone for their gracious presence and making the event a fruitful one.
